Finally fulfilling elon Musk's promise in November, Tesla has now launched its collectible Tesla Lightning Bottle in official Stores across Europe. The hand-blown bottle, known as the Tesla Decanter, may become another of Tesla's most sought-after products.
Tesla launched tesla Tequila in early November 2020, priced at $250 a bottle and featuring a unique lightning bolt. Price proved no problem as the product sold out within hours of hitting the shelves. Buyers are even selling their empty bottles on eBay. As collectibles, bottles range in price from $500 to $1,000.
Exporting alcohol to Europe is a tricky business, Musk said in response to a question about whether Tesla tequila would launch in Europe. But tesla will be selling empty lightning-shaped bottles around the world, complete with a tumbler.
The product is now available as the Tesla Decanter. So far, the product is available on the European website, but not in the US. The Tesla Decanter is now fully available for pre-order and will cost €150 ($176).
Tesla highlights Decanter's collectible value in its product description: Inspired by Tesla tequila, tesla Distillery bottles are perfect for you. The Lightning-shaped hand blown bottle has a capacity of 750 ml. The product features both the Tesla logo and the gold T logo and sits on a polished metal stand. Suitable for any scene, beautiful and elegant.
The Tesla Decanter is expected to ship in 6-8 weeks. However, Decanter does not currently include the tumbler musk tweeted about in November.
